I just wanted everyone to know about these podcasts. I saw Robert Nowall writing about his Ipod and thought I should spread the word.

You can download the subscriptions for free at the I store. If you don't have Itunes you should download it.

Pseudopod is Horror
Escape Pod is Sci-Fi

There are hundreds of great shorts. The narrators are better than most.

They are also a good market for your works. You can find their links on Duotrope.

Well, first off, it's "Nowall," and not "Norwall"...and I bought my iPod for song storage...and because the battery in a new CD player drained so fast I couldn't even listen to a whole CD.

No doubt I'll download some video in the future...I like to buy something for one function, then find out what I can use the bells and whistles for as I go...

I apologive for the typo Mr Nowall. Your earlier discussions just raised the idea in my mind.

An Ipod isn't even nescessary. I usually listen to them when I am making dinner. My Computer has a good sound system. You could also burn them on cd and listen on the way to work. It is good to hear spoken stories. It is becomming a lost art.

I believe they pay $100 per story between 2-6k words.
