Sounds like a pretty good idea. From time to time, I come across or come up with this or that, and feel the need to share---and none of these have anything to do with topics (1) about writing, or (2) likely to offend.

Besides, I can offend pretty good on topics that do concern writing.

I've been around for a little while, at least, and I don't remember seeing you write/post anything offensive. You're a classy guy, Robert.

So, let's give credit where credit is due... I can be a real bastard about things.

What about when I blasted away at the Writers of the Future? Or my notions about typeface and submission rules?

That's not a personal attack, therefore barely offensive. We can all rally behind someone who makes a thrust at the frustrations of the industry in general. It's different if you stood up and said "I think everyone who participates in WotF is a douchebag," then, that would be different.

Please, let's not have a "I can be more offensive than you can" contest here, okay?

Too bad. At work, we once spontaneously decided to heckle a sensitivity-training film. I got the biggest laugh there, too, by shouting "Down in front!" when somebody on camera stepped in front of an on-camera stag film...

That's a good one, very well you're free to join our club.

And then there were three.
