Somehow, I seem to have inadvertently disabled the visible display of spellcheck in my text. I can select spellcheck in tools, and it works okay, but there is no red underline appearing in my text automatically anymore, letting me know that something needs checked. I'm using open office. Any idea where I would go to turn this feature back on?

Well, in Word, there's a check box--two actually. Tools, Options, Spelling and Grammar on the menus. There's a check box for Check Spelling as you Type and another further down for Check Grammar as you Type. No idea if it's at all similar in Open Office, but I'd look for something like that.

Hope this helps.

You know sometimes word processors just start acting a little funky and a reboot is sometimes in order if you haven't tried it already.

Hey, spell check tells me my own name is misspelled. Who am I going to believe, me or it?
