...or maybe not, actually. So where were the forums---or fora---these past several days?
I got by, even managed a little writing after a dry spell. How'd the rest of you fare?

Should'a mentioned I am glad the boards are back...

I wrote a chapter I may or may not use for BLOOD WILL TELL and worked some on the revisions.

I believe they were changing servers.

Couldn't tell...it went down right in the middle of my trying to post something.

Yes, they were moving everything to a new server.
And it took longer than expected (of course).
I'm glad we're all back, too.

Me too. I may not post very often, but I read Hatrack everyday. It keeps me up-to-date and informed. I can't believe how much I've learned since I started coming here. Sure felt weird not to visit with everyone the last few days. So glad it's back.

Yeah, I posted something right before they went down and <poof> I ended up in the Bahamas - it was a nice disruption.

Well I had family in from Kentucky so I wasn't on much anyway.

I cried.

Aw, Mike. It's okay. We're all back together now.
I learned that I rely on these forums as a reference. While the tech people were messing with our minds, I tried several times a day to dig up what so-and-so wrote about her story, how whats-his-name phrased an old rant, and whatever else I wanted to know right then.
So, when do the forums come out in hardcopy?
Posted by MikeL (Member # 9138) on :
LOL thanks. I was kidding, but seriously, I understand what you mean about reference. It's an awesome goldmine.

Amen, brothers & sisters! Amen.

They come out in hard copy a hundred years from now and our works have become classics, then poor overworked college students have to take a class on the Hatrack Dialogs.
Posted by Robert Nowall (Member # 2764) on :
Well, that'll get me studied in college, at least...I suppose it beats donating your cadaver to the med school...

Can't say I'm impressed by the reliability of the new server. Seems to be down a lot lately.
