I acheived a bit of a milestone. After selling 8 consecutive flash fictions I finally sold an actual short story. My One Wicked Day will be printed in an anthology where all the stories are about the wonderful world of Oz. www.northernfrightspublishing.webs.com The anthology is set to be released in the fall. Reviews are coming in. http://strangeweirdandwonderful.bravehost.com/3Site/Fall09.pdf The reviewer mention my story and me by name. Is... "One of the best tales of Dark Fantasy I’ve read this year!" ...a good thing? IP: Logged |

![]() That's one of the interesting things about review statements. Out of context, it could mean good or bad things. I've sat around with a bunch of authors when they were talking about being asked to "say something nice for the cover" of a book, and hearing all the ambiguous things they can think of to say about something that they really hated. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt, though, snapper. It sounds good enough that the reviewer may have actually intended for it to be good. IP: Logged |
