I'm someone who has decided to try writing fiction after thinking about it for a long time. I found hatrack through OSC's website. I have a 200 word per day goal, and am working a lot on reading some of the writing primers. My interests are mostly short form SF&F. Right now my goal is to produce a readable story. My next goal will be to produce something good enough to send to Writers of the Future. Eventually, I'd like to get something published, whether in the pro or semi-pro markets. For now, I'm just interested in learning how to tell a good story, and thought the critiquing and writers groups on hatrack would be a huge help. Thanks, JV. IP: Logged |
