"Greetings friend. I don't believe we've met. I am called Jeremiah. It meens 'God will uplift' in my language. How very apropriate considering the fact that he has uplifted me greatly indead. I have even spoken to Him as if we were equals. Which we are not, of course! It brings me great joy to know that my Lord loves me so, however. It is this very thought that makes me wonder why He has not brought Jerusalem back to its former glory....."

Shalom, fellow follower of Jehovah. I had almost given up hope that Jerusalem would ever be rebuilt.

Can it be true that you have spoken to God? I had feared we had fallen from favor after the destruction of the Holy City. Do we remain God's chosen people, then? And if so, what are God's plans for us?
