Marble Slab Ice Cream

and

Coldstone Creamery.

And it tastes very yummy. (The ice cream off the stane, not the stone itself.)

Precision measurement machines often use a granite table in order to add mass and stability.

Ah, but stone furniture went out of style after they shaved and killed the overly symbolic lion/jesus. Really after the BBC films, stone furniture just really lost its chicque. <-SP?

sheik/sheikh - Stone furniture has really lost its Mahammed Bin Rashid feel.

chic - Stone furniture has really lost its fashionableness.

chique - Stone furniture has really lost its fleas.

All of these seem to be reasonable and astute observations. [Razz]

sheeque -- Stone furniture's appeal depends entirely on location, location, location.

(okay, I have to apologize for being too obscure, I was trying to poke fun at the penchant for giving real estate developments names with extra vowels and "fancy" spellings -- Harbour Pointe, for example)
