Is Advent Rising just the next stage of the Ender universe?

The game does include mention of the "buggers" and it also includes the "Ansible".

No, it is not. OSC wrote for the game and put in a few things from his books for fun but it is not part of the Ender universe or any other book of his.

Also OSC didn't come up with the ansinle, he got the name from another author.

How can you be sure? And is it more likely that it could be part of the Worthing Saga in that it has superpowered, god-like humans?

The other author is Ursula K. Leguin. It's in the series that includes The Left Hand of Darkness and The Word For World Is Forest.

And we can be sure because OSC himself said that's where the name came from.

Linky to OSC's explanation of his use of LeGuin's term "ansible."

I believe what you're trying to do is called "pulling an Asimov," Advent. [Smile]
