Why call ham bacon? We make fun of Canadians because they are white and we can feel safe in doing so. If we were to make fun of Mexicans, we get called a racist.
It's the same reason why we, in Oklahoma, make fun of people from Arkansas for sleeping with their sister. It's relatively safe.
Are Canadians better at hockey because they have six toes?
