quote: In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which he hath made for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats.
Has anyone else ever noticed this? The way the diggers and angels are described in the books is reminiscent of moles and bats. Not only that, but they make 'idols,' sculptured faces which they treat as gods. Does anyone know if this is more than just a coincidental similarity?

This isn't likely just a coincidence, seeing that other Isaiah references have been made on other OSC works, such as Seventh Son.
I never would have caught that. Whenever I'm reading Scripture my head is far from the Homecoming series.

moles and bats.... I never thought to question it, but it really IS a strange combinations. I always had thought of the diggers as more "ratlike", but... moles make them much nicer.
