Yeah, I feel that way, too. I think what OSC is doing is a little excessive, but Bean does have Anton's Key. He probably has an IQ of 350 or something. Bean is a great strategist/commander to serve under Ender (like he actually does), but he just doesn't have Ender's talent to understand his jeesh and his enemy.

I agree that Bean is a great strategist but he doesn't have Ender's leadership skills. But honestly, just because Bean's a better strategist that does not make him smarter than Ender. I believe that there are different types of being smart. Bean is extremely smart as a strategist and Ender is extremely smart as a leader. Bean is still a good leader but Ender is a better leader and Ender is still a good strategist but Bean is a better strategist. So I'd say they are both equally smart but in different ways.
