Just testing the water here...it's my favorite anime but really only the universal century series although gundam wing had its moments

Gundam is awesome! I like Gundam Wing and G Gundam best!

Which makes me not a hardcore Gundam fan.. OH well, I own all the GW comics!!

Gundam is okay, but in a similar vein, I really prefer Patlabor.

scared off no. passed out in front of computer yes. but know gundam wing was great for its theme of peace never coming out of death. universal century was great just for the brutality of it all(for the u.c.079 series in manageable proportions buy/rent the mobile suit gundam movie trilogy its in japanese only but awesome) political assassinations, propaganda, patricide, genocide,abuse by the victors, loyalty to pledge family/friends it runs through everything by the time it climaxes in char's counter-attack.

o as for the toys thing yes gundam wing was released to cartoon network first because of bandai's big marketing plan...gundam wing was designed to sell to younger audiences and then they could build off that and it ended up working
