Just out of curiosity, how long is it before a newb is no longer a newb? Is there a quota of posts that must be posted or something? Or does he have to show he can make an intelligent argument? I'm afraid the 2nd one may be the harder of the 2.

I certainly still feel like a newbie from time to time, having only recently stopped feeling like a n00b (see Papa Moose's progression).

I just re-read that thread. I'm still unsure of where I fit in the newbie to non-newbie progression, but I think having met TomDavidson in person should count for something.
I remembered why I put that random link with my post. Maybe the "Dingle thread" needs ressurection.
Does Mack thwap newbies? or does having been thwaped by Mack elevate one's status as Ralphe-lovin' does?

AJ. You better believe she does! My ears are still ringing, 2 months later. Several were due to my forgetting her gender. After about 6 thwaps I finally remembered she was a girl.
Then I started baiting her, so those thwaps I asked for.
