well, in tennessee, you'll be happy to know, the lawmakers specifically made sure that it wasn't illegal to bring roadkill home for dinner.

Ah, I see, I figured that it was out there somewhere, as I remember seeing Papa Moose put em in recently and people were asking about it, but I didn't catch the explanation. Thanks. Oh, and by the way, that is part of an actual song for those who didn't know. I've never been to Marlinton myself, but we've (the organization I work for) done some stuff there in the past.
