In my defense none of the options applied to me.
quote:

A: Pieces of hair from the girl I'm currently stalking.

Nope not stalking anyone.
quote:

B: Pictures of my kids. And my grandkids. Sweet Christ, I'm old.

No Kids
quote:

C: Seventeen condoms and a razor blade.

I would have concerns about carrying a razor blade in my wallet, as it could cut a hole in my pants or in me
quote:

D: Nothing. *bursts into tears*

My Wallet is not empty
quote:

E: Certainly not counterfeit money. Gary Coleman is on the ten dollar bill, right?

The Gary Coleman reference just was not working for me.
quote:

F: You just can't go wrong with crack, dude.

I have found that the crack just doesn't hold up when i sit on it.
quote:

G: A Capital One card. I let the TV make up my mind for me.

I don't have a Capital One Card.

What do you do with phone numbers of guys who just up and give you their phone numbers? I feel bad about throwing them away for some reason, and I never call them, so I just keep them in my wallet in perpetuity. I have a whole bunch of those. Otherwise nothing of interest, just the normal cards and IDs that everyone else has.

No wallet, but the following loose in my wallet pocket, in this order:
  • Chevron card
  • Ventura County library card
  • AAA card
  • Santa Barbara County library card
  • Medical insurance card
  • CA driver's license
  • B of A Visa (the miniature kind)
  • 2-4-1 guitar strings club card

If you are going through the trouble of listing what credit cards you have please follow the approved Format:

Credit Card Name
Credit Card Number
Date of Expiration (credit cards, not yours)
Your full RL name
Amount of availble credit on said card.

Please do the same for Debit Cards. Similar info on Social Security Cards, Driver's Licenses, and Passports would be acceptable as well.

A decently large sum of cash. For about 15 minutes I once had more than $1000 in it, but unfortunately I had to spend it.
KY driver's license.
Student ID.
Car and health insurance cards, car expired.
A piece of paper with various phone numbers written on it.
Waldenbooks card.
KY Colonel membership card.
Selective Service card, never got around to signing it... better do that now.
The business card of a police officer looking for my roommate last year.
Valvoline card.
Another, more expired car insurance card, its younger sibling already listed.
A temporary car insurance card, long expired.
Old health insurance card, from a different company.
Coupon for free medium blizzard at a particular Dairy Queen.
Old, slightly chipped library card, but still valid as far as I know.
Directions to somewhere, likely someone's house.
True love waits commitment card.
Really old Japanese phone cards (I think).
Senior pictures of various friends.

I can't believe I just read through what everyone listed, but it was amusing in an odd kind of way.

I guess it's only fair:

Muskego public library card
Milwaukee public library card

many old concert, movie, and play ticket stubs

2 dollar bills
3 pennies
every single receipt from every purchase I made during my six weeks in California
and the coolest yet most suprising part: Jammed in with all those old receipts I found a picture of mooselet I was given at endercon! [Smile]

I've decided that I'm only going to list things in my wallet that pertain to books:

- Books-A-Million Discount Card
- College library copier card
- Four library cards from three different states
- A receipt with the address of the Strand Bookstore, along with the address of every Krispy Kreme in New York City.

As a final bit of randomness, I also have a card explaining how to inform a suspect of their rights. (I'm not a police officer.)

Front left. Stuff falls out of back pockets and can go unnoticed too easily. Back in 11th grade my wallet fell out of my back pocket with about $400 in it and I didn't realize it until I was in line at McDonalds, and I had to backtrack about five miles. I recovered the wallet and the money in the gutter alongside a busy street under a freeway overpass, but I've been more protective ever since. Harder to pickpocket from a front pocket, too. Front right is keys. Back left is comb, back right is checkbook, which is never there for long -- only for groceries and haircuts, pretty much.

--Pop

[Edit -- I don't want a wallet. I put everything in it and don't empty it until the seams are splitting, then I need a new wallet. I've kept Jack-in-the-box receipts for years in such a manner the past. It'd be nice to have a place for pictures of Mooselet, though.]

I thought I'd give this a go because I didn't even know what was in my wallet. You guys are right however, you can tell a lot about a person from the contents of a wallet and/or purse.

2 bank account cards
Old Sears gift card (with about 2 dollars left on it)
Old, expired Sears card
College ID
Waldenbooks Preferred Reader card
Old Sprint health insurance card
Gate access card to our storage
Sprint payment card
A 'Pride' discount card from our local HS
Credit card
Various receipts
Social Security Card
Red Cross certification cards for first aid, defibrillation and CPR
Hollywood Video Card
Blockbuster Card
2 Local bead shop card from different shops
CD Warehouse frequent buyer card
My Dad's work card
Our nearest metaphysical shop's card
Prepaid legal services card
8 dollars plus change
OK drivers license

And last but not least.....
My library card!!!

Interesting. I roll with the wallet and keys in the front right (unless I'm wearing a jacket with pockets, in which case the keys go in the right jacket pocket), cell phone and money clip in the front left, and both back pockets empty.

I've always been a little irritated that my pockets are always so full. Especially when we go out and Juliette doesn't feel like bringing her purse so then I have to carry her ID with me as well (for some reason a lot of girls' clothes don't even HAVE pockets).

You know, I really feel that I must point out the stupidity of carrying a razor blade next to 17 condoms. Having spent a year providing street outreach on HIV/AIDS and the prevention thereof, I must say, that is a pretty bad things to do - tsk, tsk, tsk [No No]

I have a purse, thank you.

It requires being upended and dumped out to ascertain what exactly is in it.

This is not fun.

But somewhere in its' depths lurks such things as pictures of my son, library cards, driver's license, credit cards, spare change and on the very rare occasion, a greenback or two.

Yep.

Pretty standard fare, if you ask me.

But no condoms - and no razorblades.

(Edited for late night spelling gaffs)
(Ditto)

Mack, three flights of stairs. Laundry bag holds two baskets' worth of laundry.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. [Smile]

Oh! Almost forgot -- since also holding the laundry-room key is impossible, I have it on a safety pin, so I can pin it to my clothes and not lose it.

Again. [Blushing]
