The fact the people can't stand to see others with more or better stuff than they themselves have. More money, land, power, whatever.

Humanities greatest weakness, the tendency to sit under swords that are held up only by a thin string.

Life is not fair.

Man's greatest weakness is women.

while

Women's greatest weakness is chocolate.

Chocolate. Or the gonads.

Indubitably.

So, uh, what's my prize?

EDIT: While I was being more, uh, "literal" with my responses, they line up pretty well with Dan Raven's, eh?

Humanity's weakness...desire, to want.
Desire to be manipulated to make the person in question do another's wants.
Manipulation to reveal weakness.

Hmmm, desire, or want, is a human weakness?

I wonder how long I'd live without the desire, or want of food, clothing, shelter, drink...

Nevermind the lack of a desire or want to go to the bathroom!

*Winces at the thought*

One might say that desiring, wanting, is a human (or even living being) requirement.

I always think of want as a longing for something you don't need.

Ah, but then Julie, that is akin to saying something that is bad is bad.

Often we don't have a clear picture of what one needs until after the fact, and others sometimes need different things then us.

Bad spelling and punctuation. It's irresponsible, and it causes all sorts of confusion. That leads to frustration, which leads to rage. QED.

Wouldn't that make rage humanities greatest weakness then? I mean if your proof ends on rage that means that you have somehow previously proved that humanitie's greatest weakness is rage or it wouldn't be time for a QED until you explained why saying something leads to rage is saying its humanitie's greatest weakness and then it would seem that rage would be the real weakness.

Because, Hobbes, rage is one result of bad punctuation and spelling, but bad punctuation and spelling have other negative effects beyond those caused by rage. 'S simple. [Razz]

I'm not sure people without degrees in math are allowed to use "QED", someone should look into that.

I'm not sure that math majors should be allowed to use words. Someone should look into that.
