You guys have probably heard him before as he has a hit out (well, maybe not a hit, but he has a song on the radio) but I think he's worth a double take. I suggest listening to his live performances linked on the page above. I admire his talent most of all, but the personality that shows through his performances really ties up the package. His songs are clean stylistically and lyrically and his presence conveys a refreshing innocence and pure love of his music and performing it. I also find his videos charming, but I would honestly love to just have a record of him and his guitar. It would be more than enough.
Maybe he doesn't fit everyone's tastes, but it's not often that I hear music that makes my heart soar and ache like this guy's does.

Billie! I love Jason Mraz! I even mentioned him in one of the many many music threads here on hatrack...somewhere...I don't remember which one, it doesn't matter. Do you have his cd "Waiting for my Rocket to Come"? It's so awesome! Every song is stylistically different, but it adheres to a theme, somehow. It's hard to explain. He's just a confident little guy with a good sense of humor and a great voice. I like you even more now that I know you like M-R-A-Z. *grin* But that doesn't make me gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. hehe.
