I'd say

for looks: Pippin
in the books: Sam
in the movie: Pippin
in real life: Billy Boyd (but Sean Astin is a close second!)

Bullroarer Took. He was so huge that he could ride a horse. He also invented golf.

I like 'em all! Not romantically or anything, but you know, as like drinking buddies or people I could play manly outdoors games with. Like mumblypeg and football.

In the movie and the books, my favorite of all time is Sam. He's maybe not the smartest, but he's got the best heart. IMHO.

I'm not going to vote on looks. Sorry. I don't want a NAMBLA recruiter to contact me...

For looks: Ehhh... Uhhh... But Frodo has those eyes.... But Pippin can sing!! Oh so hard to decide... I choose Frodo.
In the Movie: Sam. He MADE RotK.
In real life: Lord, I dunno. Sean Astin's a cool guy.. Elijah doesn't seem necessarily like the kind of guy I'd want to hang out with, but not in a bad way. But Dom and Billy are both hilarious! I love them all.

Sean Astin kicked. I expect great things.

The Frodo/Sam relationship was incredible, and they pulled it off in the movie as well. But not just as "hobbits" but as literary characters and the actors that portrayed them so well.

I still like Bilbo, though. I read The Hobbit at around ten years old, and it made quite an impression on me. I remember my stepfather telling me about Lord of the Rings before, and I thought "Wow, a series about the rings of Saturn!"

Now that would have been really cool.
