If you can make it to Bartley's on April 23rd, please post here. Also, what time works best for you? Bok wanted it somewhat later, so I'm inclined to say meet at 7pm at Bartleys, unless we have any other objections.

I'm totally there... At 7 o clock... earlier would be good for me too... As long as I don't miss the last train from Boston
Because that would suck [Big Grin]
Shall I describe myself and what I'll probably be wearing so people can recognize me?

I may or may not be able to attend. Mainly depending on if I am still alive by the end of april. Grad school may kill me in the next couple of weeks.

Oh my god! Crap! I just realized I can't make it! [Frown]
I'm going to be in Pittsburgh for the last track meet of my career.
Oh well, can't have the best of both worlds I suppose.

I'll just have to somehow spend time with Myr at some other time [Wink]

* sighs * This means I'm going to miss iaido practice.. again!

Iaido is normally Sunday mornings, but now our instructor decided to start having Friday practices, too. Sigh. And I'm already behind. Maybe I can convince him to hold practice really early on Friday...

Hmmm. I'll have to figure things out. Not sure if I'll come home Fri night or Sat morning (I have to be back in town by 12:30 pm Sat). How free are you on Friday? I'm free after noon, I think. We could bum around in providence. Mike and Beca have work until at least 4:30 (later for Mike, perhaps). But we know how traffic is to Boston... (ew!)

Hehe, we sure do... My class Friday is cancelled so all that matters is how soon my parents can pick me up from school, and that only depends on how early it is when I ask them to pick me up.

Hmm, weather says "showers," but it lies a lot. This weekend is Spring Weekend at Brown, so there will be lots of "letting loose" starting Thursday or so. For example, there's Spagfest on Friday afternoon, which is where people pay about $7 to eat spaghetti and drink wine from a box at a frat on their patio. It's quite a tradition.

But assuming the weather's nice, maybe you can bum around with us for a bit in Providence before some number of cars (1 or 2) go up to Boston. Keep me posted [Big Grin]

I can't make it this time, but I hope you all have fun.

Maybe you should run by Leagal Seafood so Myr could check out that waiter again. Maybe he likes goth too... [Evil]

Have fun, and let us know how it turned out, ok?

BTW, JenniK said to tell you all she is looking forward to meeting you IRL this summer at the WMASS Picnic!

*Ponder* I wasn't really PLANNING anything else, but I suppose I could come up with something. Depends on weather I guess. We can definetely come back to my place and hang out. If an evening of "hanging" is cool with people, I can pick up chips and soda and stuff.
Alternatively, if its nice out, we can cruise down to Fanueil Hall/Waterfront.
Or, since it IS a hatrack gathering, if its not nice out, I know a great used book store on Newbury street that is going out of business, so everything is on sale.

Paul, where is this store, and what is it's name? JenniK and I both have Mondays off, so maybe I'll suprise her with a trip out there this week. We both love to read, and Boston is cool, so I'm sure she'd love it.

The bookstore is right at the hynes convention center. Its not REAL close, and I don't know if it would be open. Its Victor Huge used book store. I think its closing may first, so there may not be much left.

*peers* Its not gonna be open after dinner, for very long. Here's the home page for those interested.

I'm gonna assume we hang out at my place, so I'll buy chips and stuff this afternoon. Put in any special requests before 4 pm est.

Are you driving or taking the T?

If you are taking the T get off at harvard square, main entrance, turn 180 and walk 3-5 minutes.
It faces harvard yard. If driving, umm, talk to someone else [Smile]

There's the #1 bus from harvard along mass ave that could easily take us to Hynes in 20 minutes. The CT1 may still be running, which goes along a similar route, but I wouldn't bet on it.

-Bok

EDIT: That was about getting to the book store, not to dinner.

Oh, and I can get off work on the early side, if that helps. Maybe if we get there before 7 we can bum around Harvard Square for a bit.

I think Beca would like to leave at 5 (after work, so she can change), and that would give us time to get there, though it's likely we won't get there early at all.

Still not sure when Myr's getting her car (hey, Kris!). She might come early and bum with me (I'll have had my exam in the morning) until we head outta town.

Otherwise, I don't know what I'll be wearing.

Hmm... It looks like I have iaido practice from 3-4:30, so I'll be pre-occupied. It also looks like my car is swinging by Waltham to pick up Martha.

so you might end up having to go straight up to boston without us, or hopping in the car with us for the waltham-boston route. Beca and Mike are getting out of work by 5, so they won't be around......

whuddya wanna do?
