So I'm trying to do my online dog show entries last night and I couldn't get through. Then today I can't get to the web address at all. I called and they said a web gateway is down between Michigan and the rest of the midwest. How long does it take to get these things back up? AJ

For most of the world, its fixed in no time. But for Michigan, heck, it'll take a week before anyone really notices they are gone.

It is going In to Michigan, not going out. *grumble* and I have to pay more $$ for a fax entry than an internet entry. AJ

...as long as it takes the team of horses to be hooked back up.

How fast its fixed depends on which ISP owns it and how big they are. Also how much traffic goes through the router, but if it manages to cause this problem it probably carries quite a lot of traffic, and owned by one of the major ISPs (not likely a consumer ISP).
