That's what that means? I was wondering...

Anyway...

17/M/OK/I hate it when people say "good" when they should say "well."

And prosciutto is a very specific sort of ham rather different from what most people mean when they say "ham" in reference to sandwich meat.

if you want to get specific, are you referring to prosciutto cotto or prosciutto crudo?

edit: spelling mishap and to add... both of which are very good.

That's Context-Free Grammar-ish [Razz]

The line:
quote:

Condiments = (["relish"] ["mustard"] ["ketchup"]) | "mayonnaise"

means that the symbol Condiments can be/must be substituted for by possibly relish, possibly mustard, and possibly ketchup OR by mayonnaisse (that is, it can't be present with the others).

Basically, the [ ] mean an item is optional, ( ) are used to group things like in math (so we see what goes together, but it doesn't mean any operation is being performed), and | is a way of saying or.

Certainly, but its not a legal sandwich in my grammar. The syntax is wrong, which means it has flawed semantics [Razz]

But how does that translate to not having relish on the same sandwich as relish? That doesn't even make SENSE?

I admit I don't fully understand your syntactical system, but here goes:

Shigosei = age sex location
age = "19"
sex = "female"
location = "Oregon" | "Arizona"

Fugu, I'd like a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with mustard. And I'm afraid despite your parameters I'm going to have some illicit lettuce on it as well.
