Sorry Ela! Although, I think maybe I cheated. Does it help any that I was actually a kid from Montana who was homeschooled for three years? I only moved to Texas for my second year of high school.

A couple of weeks ago, a good friend told me that, contrary to what I believed, I am a spiritual person. I've always defined myself as religious but not spiritual (I happily identify as LDS, but have for years been lacking in faith). That threw me, and I'm still trying to assimilate why she believes it.
Anyway, provisionally, in a Power, yes.

The yes' are definitely above the 2:1 yes:no ratio, but not by a lot.
ssywak, if I phrased it that way it wouldn't account for the people who don't believe that there is *no* God, but don't believe there *is* one. Sorry, buddy, you just happen to be on the far side of the spectrum. I can't cater to every individual nuance when I am trying to find out how many people are on either side of a certain line. I put the line where I wanted it since it is my poll.
Ideally, I think there would be more "no" votes in this poll if people were actually voting that way. The "no's" are simply those who *don't* believe in a Supreme Being/s. This includes many if not most agnostics. But I am also allowing people an "out" to vote "other" if they choose.

Most days, yes. I actually sympathize with punwit--I want to believe, but sometimes my mind has trouble.

For the most part, yes. And if the general theological concepts I held in high school (and still hope are true) are correct, I even retain my get-out-of-hell-free card.
