Congrats to the Tarheel fans. Now to go to work and eat crow since my Illini boss and I told my Tarheel boss that my Illini were going to wipe the floor with his team. LOL

(edit: ooh page! pretty!)

So, someone starting a league this year, or will we wait for me to do one at the last minute?

Not sure I'll repeat, 'cause I hate picking Duke. [Big Grin]

Okay, since I asked the same question on another thread yesterday to no avail, I went ahead and started one.

Yeah, wow. I guess I can't win:

Friday, 17 March: (8) Arizona v. (9) Wisconsin.

(For those who don't know, I graduated from Wisconsin in May and am now doing grad school at Arizona. Sheesh!)

But I'm in for the Pick'Em, even though I'm horrible at these things.

So I've got to keep myself from switching the UConn-UNC winner for four days.

I'm trying to decide if Villanova can beat Boston College. Nova's got an incredible team with a lot of talent, but they're playing a 4 guard/1 forward set. BC's got a really powerful paint presence. Can Nova's guards outscore BC's inside game? Will Allen Ray's eye be good enough to play?

Grah.

With all the strong bubble teams that didn't make it this year (Maryland, St. Joe's, Creighton, Michigan, Cinci, Louisville, etc), this year's NIT is looking watchable, too.

Just craziness all over.

I don't know why -- but I'm picking Villanova to go all the way this year. Maybe I just like the sound of the name - or the coach, or whatever. But that is what my gut is telling me at the moment. (and hey, I was leader last year, so my gut can't be all that bad, can it?)

Not a lot of bracket takers, yet, it seems. There are only six people in the jatraqueros group.

I'm joining. Can we start a 2006 thread? I know, I know, I'm lazy but I would rather have this year on its own thread.

Oakland University Grizzly WOMEN made it for the first time to the tourny after upsetting West Illinois.

They face top seeded Ohio State in the first round.

I expect victory!
