What can I say, we are insatiable.

Or we got reallllllly lucky and want to go for two.

sure my job is only 4 months old, and the wife thinks she should quit hers, and we need to replace the 1990 van that is literally falling apart along the highway, and moving should be a high priority for various reasons.

So instead we are taking what is left of our savings and investing it...

in a sister for Sasha.

This time, from India.

We are at the very begining stages of this trip. We look to be 15-18 months before we will be bringing this little girl home, whoever she may be.

We have a lot of paperwork in front of us.

A whole lot of paperwork.

And then some more paperwork.

But hey, this time we know what we are getting ourselves into.

don't we?

STOP LAUGHING!

Why India?

My wife loves the country.

My wife thinks that Indian girls are adorable.

We have friends from India.

We have more friends in India.

And Russia is having serious troubles with their adoption policies. They appear to be ending, but India seems safer.

Neato, Batman! That just sounds sooooo cool!

And maybe, on your way to or from India to pick up your new girl, you can stop in Sri Lanka for LankaCon 2006. *hint, hint* (Shameless plug, I know. [Big Grin] )

Congrats you three! Good luck!

Hmmm, are there many stories of adopted siblings marrying each other? That's just a bit squicky. >.<

Edit: And this appears to be in response to a comment that no longer exists. [Frown]

Congrats, Ravens! Welcome in advance to your future daughter!
