Maybe it's because Mama actually reads Hatrack, but I'm rather uncomfortable answering. So many reasonable options to choose from -- mostly female -- but to choose only one? Depends on the kind of dating, too -- dating looking toward marriage, just for fun hanging out, NCMO, etc.
I also have a tough time (a) considering dating someone I've never met, and (b) separating the appearance from the personality of those I have met.

Totally platonically, I would pick the peeps I have fond memories of from when I first logged into hatrack - a bunch of whom don't post much anymore, if at all...
Slash, Olivet, Icarus, Bonduca, John Keats, jkkirk, aka, katherina, Dan Raven, Tom Davidson, Bob Scopatz, Ralphie, mackillian, porcelain girl, ClaudiaTherese, Irami, Thor, Leto, Tresopax, David Bowles... lots more that just aren't coming to me at the moment.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that that song's not covered by copyright.
As for me... Geez. Uh... I'm having a hard time not thinking of people I've met in person. Uuuhhhhh...
I'd go out with raventh, Verily, Chris Bridges, Eduardo_Sauron, Zotto!, twinky for sure, and saxon75. Of course, fully half if not more of these people are married or otherwise spoken for, but I could hang out with them platonically.
