I was born in Italy to American parents, and I've had a fascination with the language ever since. My fascination is mainly displayed by the songs i listen to. Now, I just recently heard a song by the Italian group Eiffel 65(yes, the ones who did that Blue song) called "Amor Imenso." HOWEVER, I can't find the lyrics to it anywhere, not even on their website! Can anyone help me?
And can anyone recommend any other Italian songs for me to listen to? I prefer Rock, pop, and Dance, but I won't be picky.

Yeah, I think the problem is that it's actually a Spanish song, Amor INmenso, and is actually by Nek. There is an Eiffel 65 remix, though. The lyrics that Val posted are the right ones.
When searching for Spanish lyrics, type letra into your google search - it gets you to lyrics sites a lot more quickly.

Oh, and for reccomendations: have you ever listened to any Eros Ramazzotti? He's probably the best-known Italian rock singer out there, and does albums in Spanish too (as Italian singers are wont to do). I think he's pretty groovy.
I also like Paolo Conte, who is a little more classic and jazzy. His voice is great, though.

There's an artist named "Zucchero" that sings Italian pop. His international hit was "Baila (Sexy thing)." It was done in different languages and the italian version is actually a hybrid of italian and english.. Here are the lyrics for it. Posts: 326 | Registered: Aug 2004

The best way to find lyrics is to just type in as many key words as you know/google will handle and let the text find itself. It's harder with foreign languages when it, but I'vefound straight googling usually gets the lyric page that actually has what you are looking for.

unfortunately, theamazeeaz, I don't speak but a few sentances of spanish, and couldn't even hope to figure out the spellings of any words. I got the TITLE wrong, for crying out loud! I'm just a pathetic little high school senior going into French 5.

I really like Nek; my favorite song is Se io non avessi te. Lunapop is pretty good too, the song Qualcosa di Grande especially.
