In love is born meaning
In friendship, happiness
But these are impossible without the strength
To see another soul
And be seen.

Against their will
Yet by their own choices
The people of the world are divided,
Lonely strangers passing in the street,
Neighbors fenced in.

I don't want to fix the world
I just want to stand here by your side
And wonder at it with you.
But how can we find the courage
To defy the way of the world?

Those who are true, who brighten every night
Those who see clearly, the prisms for their light
I admire you.
