I don't claim to be an expert on art. I know next to nothing about it, but I would like to learn. I'm trying to determine what I like, and I've found that I have an affinity for red.
Here's a collection of my favorites that I have found in recent Ebay auctions. Please share your own favorites (on Ebay or elsewhere).
Verbundenheit, an abstract three-piece painting that is so simple, yet I can't take my eyes off it. Too bad it ships from Germany for 59,95 Euros.
I don't like anything else by this seller (too sentimental for my tastes), but I do love this one of the tulip.
I love the contrasting creamy yellows and midnight blues in this one.
I'll post more later, maybe.

The tulip IS beautiful, and if I hadn't already bought my sister and her husband a gift this year, I would so be getting it for them. As it is, I can't justify spending it on myself.

Here is a site that is a little slow, but has more excellent classic art than you'll ever be able to get through.
This, this, this and this are some of my favorites. But I'm another person who is completely uneducated and just knows what I like.
