OK, so I just watched "Troy." And so I tend to be a hero worshipper.

Doug Flutie has a magic which can only be explained as being blessed by the gods. Not God, but the gods, as in, the Greek ones. He is just too epic for modern times.

I'll second that. How can anyone NOT like this man? I was sad to see him leave the Chargers.

Heck, I remember when he left the Bears. And at the time, I was thinking, "Hm. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen this kid's full potential."

Flutie got a raw deal more than once, even from the Pats.....


I would rather have him as QB than Bledsoe, that's for sure. [Big Grin]
