Did anyone hear this report last night? Holy *&^!

I don't normally use &@#&(*!@()&* explitives around here, but when I heard it that's exactly what I said and it's still so surprising that I'll do it here. In fact I was listening to it at work last night and three other people heard it and said much the same thing.

quote:
In D.C., one in 20 people is HIV-positive.
I believe in the report they mentioned that among African-Americans living in Washington D.C., one in seven people had either AIDS or HIV.

Holy &@!%!!!!

I think in DC the problem lies with unprotected male/male sex among those that do not call themselves homosexuals. I have read articles that a problem in DC are many "straight" men meeting up randomly. Combine this with the drug use problem in DC, and the numbers definitely do not surprise me.
