Beast's X-Men uniform and Jean's Dark Phoenix duds are hideous.

I saw some promo pics for X3 at Dark Horizon this morning and was terrified.

After seeing this poster... well, I'm still not thrilled. I'm terribly excited for Angel and Beast - and, of course, Wolverine's still really hot [Smile] - but I'm not sure what to think about this.

I do think, however, that it's going to have too many characters. Just like the next Spider-Man.

Jean's isn't too bad. Neither are the others, though the new rougher Storm is a strange sight given her portrayal in the past couple movies.

Beast's costume is....I don't even know what to say about that. He looks like he borrowed some clothes from Heff.

Why is Angel naked?

Will they make some sort of pointed reference to his whereabouts like "Oh Nightcrawler's in Boston searching for his past, he won't be back till this movie's over."

Possibly the only teaser poster more hideous was that for Return to Oz...which makes it look like the film is about a wide-eyed carnie wielding a gigantic piece of costume jewelry.

Beast just... isn't big enough.

Jeans costume isn't bad, per se, but would be better if she didn't have the cape thing from the waist down. But I'm sure having the cape thing blowing in the wind adds to the effect or some other FX formulae that's just as stupid.

They didn't put beast in pink leather, they put him in brown leather, with poorly reflected light.

Angel isn't naked, he's wearing socks.

I think that they should redo the whole movie and put it out in animation like the old TV show. Even that would probably be better.

Well the first two were pretty good movies, albeit with Singer as the director, so I have a feeling this'll be pretty good too.

On a side note, I totally dig the chick that plays Rogue. I've been saying this since the first one came out, and yet I've never bothered to even figure out her name.
