I picked this book up the other day and started to read it. I have read A Brief History of Time by Steven Hawking and I was wondering if anyone had any insight into what this book has to offer that is not covered, in detail, in Hawking's book?

This is just a guess, but I'm going to say it probably has more dancing Wu Li masters.

thanks Tom, but there is no Dancing in the book. It's about "the new physics"

How do you know? They might not do any dancing until the end.

I read it a few years ago and quite enjoyed it. Hawking's book is more about cosmology, whereas Zukav's is, IIRC, more about physics on the small scale.

Twinky, so they cover more quantum mechanics than Hawking?

Flip to the end and look at the "Stable Particle Table". If you're interested in the why's and wherefore's of these subatomic particles you've found the right book. I have to admit that I've never made it to Chap. 1 in the 3 attempts I've made to read it. It has been collecting dust on my shelf for at least 6 years.
