Yep 8 is definitely Oscar. Now that I see that, I totally hear it in Isabella Rosellini's accent.

And it wasn't Isabella Rosellini in Oscar... it was Ornella Muti. Who was also in Flash Gordon, come to think of it, another film on my list.

#10 involves someone with a gun calling a cop a pig.
#11 takes place during the Vietnam war, but in Germany.
The bonus question would have either been gotten right away or not at all. If one other person here has seen it I will be very surprised. Even Joe Bob Briggs hadn't seen the film last time I asked him, although if he had he would have *loved* it. It starred Shadoe Stevens as a mercenary-turned-cookie-entrepreneur who tries to cleans up a town from crime in order to finance his cookie business. I taped it off HBO in the late 80's.

No on the bonus question, I checked out Small Time Crooks on the IMDB, apart from a cookie business it doesn't seem too much like the movie I'm thinking of, which was made in 1988. Looks interesting though.

Alright, I just googled number 2 and that was a horrible hint to give for it. I haven't seen it in a few years so I didn't recognise the quote, but that hint sent me further away from it in guesses rather than closer.

Dark Star was written by the guy that wrote Alien. And he wrote it before he wrote Alien. He said Alien was basically Dark Star made scary. He also played Sgt. Pinback in the movie and said the given quote.
One more to go. How about some more hints? The question that prompts quote #10 is, "Is that gun loaded, boy?" and is said by a white police officer to a young black man who, along with several of his friends, are brazenly displaying rifles on a city street.
The bonus question starred Shadoe Stevens, and also had Priscilla Barnes (erstwhile of "Three's Company") and Robert Davi was the villain. And I keep hoping it comes out on DVD some day.

Yes on the bonus. Have you actually seen that movie? I never met anyone else who saw it before... even though as I said it was on HBO in the late 80s.

Yippee, I finally got one. I saw the movie a while ago at a friend's house. It's the only movie I know with Shadoe Stevens in it.

Nah, not too easy, I just spend more time watching kid-type movies than adult ones, so I was more tuned in this round. (And it helped that I was still online and coherent when you posted your list so I wasn't bringing up the caboose LOL)

Well, you still got #14 wrong. It's a kind of obscure movie...that most people have tried to block out of their memories.

Steve, would you mind please going back and fixing my name? It's a pet peeve of mine, seeing people misspell my name (even when it's a screen name). Thank you!

Okay, I just googled 15, and there are like 5 different movies that use that quote. I know which one you're talking about now, but still..... bad quote.

But if you've seen the movie in question, you'd know exactly what it was. If you paid attention, at least.
