Gibbs QUIT? I mean, I thought it was bad last year when they killed Kate (has it really been a year?), but they can't have the show without GIBBS! Is he gonna come back? Or are they really gonna try and do this? Opinions? Thoughts?

I think the only way Gibbs will stay gone is if Mark Harmon wanted more money than the network is willing to pay him. If he doesn't come back they should put Ziva in charge.

Ya, I like Tony...but he is no Gibbs. But hey, I thought it was nuts when they killed Kate...but I personally like Ziva better now.

Interesting episode, I was a little disappointed though, thought it woul dbe a little better. Oh well there's always next week.

It was a good episode. But is Gibbs gone or not? He was back in the premiere last night, and clips from next week show he's back again, possibly with a badge.

I think Gibbs is going to be back-- it just may take a while. Or not, judging by the premiere for next week.
I'm so glad that my aunt has Tivo so I can watch NCIS without feeling guilty about missing House, since she Tivos House anyway and is perfectly happy to make me a tape.

He'll be back. I think we have to wait a couple episodes for him to come back though.
I was just starting to like the chemistry with the team. McGee isn't a probie anymore, Ziva and Tony apparently have some sort of friendship outside the office of a non-sexual nature, which I like, and they're very tightknit.
I wonder now, what they'll do to shake it up this season.
