Three things:

1. Favorite vegetable. And a few kind words of support.

2. Favorite three-vegetable combination. And some graemlins.

3. Favorite meat. And why I should give a damn.

4. Favorite fake-meat name. Just for kicks.

BEGIN!

1. Green Onions. Man, they're delicious. And GREEN!

2. Onions [Blushing] , Green Onions [Big Grin] , Bell Peppers [Mad]

3. Chicken. Cuz it's the tuna of land.

4. Tofurkey. Haha, amazing stuff.

So I get to choose to omit one??

1) Cauliflower. I feel like it's forgotten. So much like broccoli but different and denser and just plain better to me.

2) No comment.

3) Probably any 'seafood' done up right. I don't like much/many - can't stand how it gets caught in my teeth. I don't enjoy chewing forever or having remnants until I floss.

4) Gardenburger. It's just so fitting.

Sure, omit whatever you like! I agree with you on the gardenburger. Classic.

1. Asparagus, perhaps. Hard to beat if steamed, especially if there's hollandaise around for dipping.

2. [Grumble] Brussels sprouts [Eek!] Habaneros [Laugh] Radicchio

3. We're counting seafood? Hamachi. *drools*

4. Could it be... seitan?

1. Spinach

2. Cauliflower, green beans, paprika (served with rice and chicken)

3. Cordon Blue Italian style. (just a folded piece of pork, filled with cheese and salami) fingerlicking good!

4. Tofurkey

1. Green beans. They're good cooked up in a little oil and lots of garlic.

2. Lettuce, cucumber, and whatever random vegetable that someone throws in my salad.

3. Chicken. It's versatile.

4. Wham.

1. Broccolini - It's long, like asparagus, but it's broccoli. [Big Grin]

2. 3 bean salad.

3. [Blushing] - I can't say that here.

4. Krab (or whatever they call that white-and-red fake crab meat. All the goodness of crab, but no shell fragments.)

1. Spinach. Love it raw in salads or cooked in things like meatloaf, spaghetti sauce, or quiche.

2. V8 juice, or that new V8 Fusion juice that tastes like fruit juice even though it is made from mostly veggies. I don't really like veggies.

3. LOL Karl! I like ground turkey, again for the versatility and it is cheap and easy to cook. I can make tacos or burgers or spaghetti or meatloaf or chili or just about anything with it. Chicken is a close second.

4. Spam. There is a Spam festival near me every year but I have never eaten the stuff.

1. Arugula... so tasty, so expensive, so easy to grow in your windowsill or garden.

2. ginger, tarragon and cilantro [No No] [Angst] [Mad] (okay, they're still plants) *shudders* grosss...

3. Cheddar. I don't eat meat.

4. Tof*ck. (as in, if soy turkey=tofurkey, soy duck=...)

I thought of listing Spam, but I didn't think it counted since it's technically not "fake" meat. It's a meat-product. Any standard that would allow me to include Spam should also let me include balogna, hotdogs, vienna sausages, scrapple, etc.

Come to think of it, Krab probably falls into that category too. Hmmm.
