Does anybody remember that show. Man, was it awful. Don't ask me why, but I was browsing the discussion boards for the show on IMDb and found this:

Your mentioning it is extremely strange (to me), as I haven't had a thought about that show since it's been ages. However, today, while trying to answer a question posed by a friend, I'd looked up a site featuring 80's TV shows...and there it was!

We remember that show. We actually liked it, but that isn't saying much given our age at the time. Kids have terrible taste when it comes to quality.

No, it was awful. I found out that the show actually has a following and you can watch episodes on Youtube. The girl playing the robot was kinda cute, but there was some strange innuendo (in-YOUR-end-o! -The Todd) It's a little freaky. Reading the posts about the show on youtube and IMDb, there seems to be a sorta perv aura about the show. Nothing blatant, but it's there.
Anyway, read the posts that I linked to. If you look at the profile of the guy who started the thread, CaveatEmptorGreg, you can read his other posts. This guy was hilarious. Stopped posting in June, though... too bad.

I used to watch this and My Secret Identity (the clear predecessor to Smallville) - and some show with a girl who could stop time, the name of which I don't remember. Did either of those last more than a season?
Edit: I looked it up! It was "Out of this World"!

"She's a smaaaaall wonder. lovely, bright, and soft curls..."
That was a bad show. Bad as in lame.
However, interestingly enough, in some of the 80's nostalgia sites, the show was mentioned and I found out that it has been in syndication in India. And that it's a hit over there.
Sometimes I wonder about what people in other countries think of Americans. This little nugget, along with Baywatch, makes me want to laugh.

I used to love all three of those shows and watched them regularly. My favorite was probably My Secret Identity, and I totally remember the theme song.
