I learned about http://www.chacha.com this week in a class and I was suprised that I had not already heard about here.
If you don't know about ChaCha, they are a new search engine with the goal to outdo Google by adding the human touch. Not only can you search the web, but you can connect to a ChaCha guide who will help you search. There is a ChaCha community of guides and to be a guide you have to receive an invite from a current guide (Gmail, anyone?).
My Google-fu is strong and I don't really chat online anymore so this tool doesn't have a strong appeal for me.
I wondered if any of you have tried it from the user end or if anyone here is a guide. I'd be interested in hearing about the guide side.
edit: After reading this, I am afraid that my post sounded like I was fishing for a guide invite. I'm not. I'm just curious as to how it all works.

It's page is almost just like Google's except more cluttered. Besides, I like Google. That's where I read my news.
