I've been listening to alot of music from different countries recently, mostly current popular music. The main country that I've been listening to their music is Israel, mainly because Hebrew is the only language I understand besides English.
I'm looking to get some albums from the top musicians of other countries and I've come here for recommendations. It can be pretty much any country that has good music, I just want to get a taste of what each country listens to. So, any recommendations?
And also, I want to plug an Israeli musician named Idan Raichel (pronounced Rye-Chel with the Hebrew Ch sound). He's ridiculously talented and he's become one of my favorite artists. Here is a link to one of his videos. I can't recommend his first self-titled album strongly enough.
