Yeah, that did occur to me in the two seconds between reading the title and reading the message.

Clearly, none of y'all have ever lived in earthquake country. Here, "Hey, did you feel something?" is never about an internal parasite (no matter how cute).

Looks like there have been no injuries or structural damage reported. A lot of people felt it, and stuff fell off walls and shelves. (Not in my place -- I'm too far from the epicenter.)
Of course, someone had to make a mild shake into a frightening drama:

Scientists believe there is a chance California will suffer a major earthquake due to movement in the nearby San Andreas fault, which runs close by the city of Los Angeles.
Experts say the fault line causes a massive quake every 150 years.
The last such disaster was in 1857. A 6.7 magnitude quake in Northridge, near Chatsworth, killed around 60 people in 1994.

They have temporarily closed a bridge in Santa Clarita to check some cracks they think may have been caused by the earthquake.

I was pretty sure this must be about an earthquake of some sort, knowing where Rivka lives. Though we're close to a fault too, I've only ever felt one.

See, this is why I am so hesitant to move to the Valley. My roommate is much more proVally than I, but they have much more quake action. I live in Santa Monica in didn't feel a thing.
