I am almost positive that that is a parody trailer. I don't think they are really making that movie.

I hoped it would be. Still, good graphics for a parody trailer. But you have to admit, you wouldn't be THAT surprised if a movie like that was actually made. Especially given Hollywood's recent trend (and by recent, I mean in the last 30 years) of remakes or stealing from other mediums.

I was disappointed by the lack of the Tetris A tune in there, though it was still a good trailer.

(Let it load all the way before you watch, it takes a bit but it's worth it as the HD is very good and it lags if you don't wait)

Asteroids has a few things to work with: Space, Giant Asteroids, Space Ships, Lasers. I could see it happening.
