I really love reading Guy Kay's work, and I will more than likely be there.

Here is a linky to the The International Association
for the Fantastic in the Arts, the place he will be speaking!

March 18-22, 2009, at the Orlando Airport Marriott, Orlando, Florida

Sounds like it's time for a Hatrack meeting there! Anyone in the Orlando area interested?

:::edited the title so the date is correct:::

I love Kay's writing. Just read "Lions of Al-Hassan". If I were anywhere near Orlando these days I'd probably go.

Well, even if it were open to the general public I wouldn't really feel comfortable making plans nineteen thousand years in advance.

What do you think life would be like if everyone lived for 20,000 years? I mean, you'd have to think about the decay of your personal possessions, like houses, the land on which you live or were born. It's interesting.
