  • I use "north" to mean "up" or "higher"
  • I think of summer as hot, winter as cold
  • I'm secretly resentful that the Coriolis effect doesn't go clockwise up here.

In fact, I think you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere that thought of winter as hot, summer as cold....

But, the original terms are from a English perspective. So they do make sense.

Perhaps it would have worked better if it had gone something like: "I think of July as summer and December as Winter."

I got closer to a lot of those than I though I would. When I missed it was thinking something was on when it was just north or south or just north or south when it was on.
