I know that I am barely here anymore, but for those of you who still remember me and are interested in what I am up to, I am spending the 2010-2011 academic year in Israel, post-undergrad. I love your writing style! I feel like I was right there with you . . . I could see the waves on the sand, hear the kooky lady talking (and gesturing and moving through the apartment.) I'll be really interested in reading about your adventures, even though we don't know each other at all!
