Hey all.

I got a BN gift card for Christmas that I will never use. I was wondering if someone either had maybe an Amazon gift card they'd be willing to trade, or if they could simply buy an Amazon gift card and I'll either mail this one or simply email you the number on it so you can make purchases online. Maybe someone with a Nook?

I don't want anyone to go far out of their way, but I figured if there were BN shoppers here then everyone might be able to win.

How soon were you hoping to unload it?

Lyrhawn: Card Pool sounds like the website you need. [Smile]

One of my best friend's husband works for them.

Not bad in a pinch, though they'll take more than 20% of the value in exchange. Looks like a neat place to go shopping though.

Oh, whenever really. Now would be great, but it's not like I'm vitally in need of twenty-five bucks to where I'm desperate. I was just floating a notion to see if anyone shopped there a lot, or even moderately, and see if this might be a simple exchange. What do you have in mind? You shop there a fair bit but weren't planning on it any time soon?

More or less. There isn't really one near me. If you don't mind my asking, what would stop you from using it online as you would an Amazon giftcard?

Amazon is almost always cheaper, so it's more bang for my buck. Plus I have Amazon Prime so it's faster.

Plus, I just discovered from poking around, BN charges tax.

I have always had great luck with Ebay. I always sell them within a dollar or two of the face value. Often I don't even need to ship it, the buyer just wants the numbers off the back to use it online.

Sometimes you may even get more.

lol that's crazy.

Not a bad idea though. I might just go ahead and do that. Does Ebay charge a listing fee?
