I'm in. Like way in.

Hobo Superman has nothing on this.

James Gunn is the man. And it looks like they nailed the casting.

I think it's the worn in and industrial style of future tech, mixed with the comfortable approach to filming aliens. Make them highly defined but then waste a lot of it by not doing fetish shots, just film the alien like it wasn't special.

It sure is, I loved The Fifth Element and the humor. This one seems to be a little less "sophisticated", more light, but it looks like it's gonna be good.

What made me thing of TFE is the scene with those policemen with big guns, it's so similar I'm pretty sure TFE had to have an infulence here.

I'm getting a "Serenity" vibe from Starlord. He's a good crook, wears guns like a cowboy and just looks like he'd be wearing a browncoat.

I'm in as well.

I just hope that other, non-comic book following audiences will go and see this movie as well. Ironman, Thor, and Captain America all have more name recognition.

My father has read comic books since he was a kid, and he had never heard of the Guardians of the Galaxy. I knew who they were but had never picked up a comic.

People will watch this simply because it will connect to the Avengers plotline. Everyone loves those movies and they'll go simply because they don't want to miss out on a potential plot point. Also, the trailer just looks like it'll be a fun movie.

I'm not a comic follower except for movies, but I know who the Guardians of the Galaxy are for a very strange reason. They did a challenge on Tim Gunn's Under the Gun (like Project Runway but with a mentoring aspect) where they were to be inspired by the Guardians. X]
