So Senate staffers decided to look into documentation surrounding Bush-era torture conducted by the CIA. The CIA turned around and hacked into those staffer's computers and started poking around. Remember this computers exists specifically so that key legislators can investigate the agencies behavior in a private classified manner.

"As far as the allegations of the CIA hacking into Senate computers, nothing could be further from the truth.… That's beyond the scope of reason."

But then later, CIA's director Brennan says that he,

"Apologized to them for such actions by CIA officers as described in the [inspector general’s] report,"

Remember this is the same CIA that brazenly destroyed interrogation tapes of terrorist suspects when it became clear the new Obama administration would probably be asking to see them. And nobody was disciplined for it because the Nuremberg Defense apparently works when Americans use it.
