Annie's book is funny folks. I would say that it's 'sardonically irreverent' (name that movie) but it really isn't irreverent at all, just funny! The Pride and Prejudice chapter is one of my favorites.

More props for Annie's book, folks. Narn's description is very accurate, and only the time it's taking me to fatten up my piggybank enough to get a copy without risking my plans for regular meals is holding me back from snagging a copy this very night.

I don't know, I'm kind of disappointed. Here I was hoping for some real Annie-bitterness, cynicism and general coffee grounds of jaded observation.
Instead I get a beautifully written, humorous, self-aware and ultimately uplifting and thought-provoking post.
How dare you?
** You should look at getting this published - in an anthology of some sort. I'm thinking Chicken Soup for the Soul but well written - does such a thing exist? Or maybe a literary magazine?
It really is great writing.
