I'm pleased Mr. Card mentioned David Wong's Essay in his latest OTF.
It really was a refreshing way to look at how I was interacting with people in the world. I remember watching the linked (within the article) Glen Garyglen speech and thinking, "Let's go sell some freaking real estate!"
The essay overall I think hits the nail on the head several times, and is well worth reading, if you can get past the profanity.

I generally find Wong's articles very thought provoking, even when I don't completely agree with them. I have even used some of them in my composition classes, though I edit out the profanity when reading aloud Posts: 428 | Registered: Nov 2006
