I fondly remember when you debuted DefenderoftheForce, it caused me to register ElvenWench. We had a nice little bout, back and forth.

Of course, I won. [Smile] You need only compare Attack of the Clones to the Two Towers to see that you had virtually no chance.

[Big Grin] You're one of the few people that I feel comfortable saying "I love you, as much as a married woman can love another guy" to. [Smile]

Hrm...nope, can't really think of any good Pat stories.

Congrats on 1000 posts, though. You join an elite group of...probably under 100 people.

I actually had a funny story, but then I noticed from your list that it must've been someone else's alias that I had assumed was you. Ahh, well.

OK, Seeing how I have known this man for a long time. I will tell you my favorite story.

A little back ground: Pat's and my grandfather was very short fused man. It is something that Pat and I have learned to tone down, just to give you an idea. When he was mad he was scary and everyone ran. Due to family situations, Pat ended up living with our grandparents.

Pat was given a sweater for his birthday or Christmas, not important. Days later he was spending the night over at my house. When we decided to go meet some of my friends. We stopped by a friends house. I knew that she was alone and was deathly afraid that someone would break in and kill her, it way beyaond normal fear. I, of course, being the kind human being I am decided to play on this fear. We decided to do the old knock-and-run routine. So we knocked and ran.

Pat ran past me and into a barbed wire fence that, being night without lights, we could not see. I remember laughing so hard that I could not stand. To see Pat tangled in the wire.

Back to the point. Pat was wearing his brand new sweater and had torn a few hole in his sweater. Rightfully so, Pat was mortified what my grandfather would do to him. There is no fear till you realize your life is about to end over a sweater.

After that nothing was fun anymore so we went home. Lukily my mother who kinew her father very well wall calm and darned all the holes. My Grandfather never found out.

So,Pat,does your conscience weigh on you about lying to your Grandfather?

I have many other stories but they are for Pat to tell. I will tell you all that if you knew his life your respect for him would only increase.

Your Cuz,
Scott

Pat's my role model. Unfortunately, I don't think I could pick just one favorite story. Maybe that time he drank a bottle of soy sauce and tried to eat Bob's concession stand. Or that time that he and Cedrios got in a knife fight on the stone bridge. Or that time that he owed me five bucks.

Posted by Jon Boy (Member # 4284) on :

Or that time he tried to register the name Mr. Virgin Lips, but I'd already taken it, and then he registered Mr. Virgin iips before realizing that he had the L/i thing backwards. Or the time he registered the name Jimmy Osmond and sang the same song three times in one thread. Good grief, that thread cracked me up. Or the time that he registered the name Sharkey and then I registered Snarky and got everyone to think that I was Pat, spoofing himself. Ah, so many usernames, so many memories.

Pat, now I miss The Pixiest again!

And Cedrois, that was classic...

I have had lots of great times with Pat. Mafia Games, ooh I remember the first. I also have had the oppertunity of mistaking 'Pat' for a female, thus kicking off the registration of Patrick, and Patricia. [Wink]

One of my fondest memories of Pat, outside of mafia, was when Saruman came to harrass me in the Wenches' Tavern Jail. That thread made me laugh a lot. Especially when the love-struck Obi-wan came to rescue him. LOL

The whole "pull my finger" thing, which should not have been funny, but was.

Thanks, Pat.

Favorite Post: The one that listed what he believes and why.

Best Quality: A twisted sense of humor

Why he's on my Personal Favorites List: He indulges my husband's smart-aleck, sarcastic side with grace and wit.

I'd be interested in seeing him fall off a tramp. Just a few questions: How tall was the tramp? Were you standing on your head when you fell off him? Was he really a tramp, or just a misunderstood hobo?

Pat, you are one cool guy. You have too many screen names, but you are cool. I need you address sometime too, by the way. It's almost done (you wouldn't believe me if I told you what the hang up has been) but I think it will be done this weekend. Your work addy is fine, or where ever you want it sent. (You know, if you give me your work address, you could save it for a holiday or some other time when you get in trouble. [Wink] If you like it, of course.)

I'm always afraid that I'm weirding you out, or your wife. I hope not, and I don't mean to. Though, if she started posting here, I have a feeling I'd like her a lot (and probably take her side when you're wrong, so maybe that isn't a good idea for you, but it would work for me. [Big Grin] )

I'm also going to use this to respond to posts from my landmark thread. I certainly don't want it dragged back up to the top again. [Embarrassed]

HDD, I enjoy you being at Hatrack also. Sorry I gave you a hard time when you first showed up, but Patrick has been so nice to me that I figure anyone in must be cool too. I'm perfectly harmless (unless you're Jon Boy and then it's really a matter of personal paranoia. [Wink] ) Hope I didn't frighten you, either. The research is really just because I have nothing better to do most days. Anyone could do it, they just need too much time on their hands. [Smile]

Dio, you are cool, but I know you knew that from before. I still wish you'd finish your book, or at least write a summary for me!! [Big Grin]

Jon Boy, yeah, I hire newbies to bump old threads. [Roll Eyes] Seriously, when would I have time to do that? Tracking all your posts and alias's is a full time job! [Razz]

(Sorry for hijacking your thread Pattycakes.)

See pat nobody likes you enough to post nice things I tried to get it started even Jon Boy tried. [Big Grin]

The problem is you are an enigma to most people. You can't stay in true character long enough for anyone to form a true picture of who Pat is. So either post a story about your life, or don't expect those, who know you simply as the man who pops in and out of threads to fluff them up, unless of course it's aquestion about how you can survive in an 'R' rated society, to post about you.

Besides don't you think its time for some 'Shock and Awe'. [Big Grin]
